The terms that govern your use of the Doodlebug app and the getdoodlebug.com website.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Doodlebug mobile app and the getdoodlebug.com website, including the tracking features, AI assistant and reference content (the “Services”).
By using Doodlebug, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Doodlebug is operated by Tikiri Labs Ltd (“Doodlebug”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17370750), registered office 16 Elm Quay, Thomas Blake Avenue, Southampton, England, SO14 5DL.

Doodlebug helps parents and caregivers record and understand their child's everyday care — sleep, feeds, meals, nappies, medicines, symptoms, growth and more — with reminders, charts, age-based reference content and an AI assistant.
Doodlebug is not medical advice. The Services — including the AI assistant, charts, reminders and age guides — provide general information only. They are not a medical device and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they are no substitute for the judgement of a qualified health professional who knows your child.
If you are worried about your child's health, contact your doctor, paediatrician, health visitor, pharmacist or local health advice line (such as NHS 111 in the UK). If your child is seriously unwell, call your local emergency number — 999 in the UK, 911 in the US, 112 in the EU — or go to the nearest emergency department. Never delay seeking medical help because of something the app did or did not say.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Information about a child may only be recorded by that child's parent or legal guardian, or by a caregiver they have invited.
You agree that you will:
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe there is misuse, fraud, abuse, or a breach of these Terms.
If you are invited to help care for a child, these Terms apply to you too: by accepting the invite and creating an account, you agree to them.
You are responsible for:
The records you and your invited caregivers create belong to you. You grant us the licence we need to store, sync, back up, process and display that content — solely to provide the Services, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record. When you invite a caregiver to a child's profile, they can see and add to that child's records until you remove their access.
The AI assistant generates answers automatically, using your question, context from your logs, and an AI model. Age guides and similar reference content are general information for typical children, not an assessment of yours.
While we aim to make these features useful:
Always check important information with a qualified professional (see section 2).
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are displayed before purchase.
Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to the store's own payment terms. Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; refunds are handled under the relevant store's policies.
We may offer a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the trial converts to a paid subscription and the store will charge you when the trial period expires. Trial terms and length are shown before you start one.
Taxes may apply where required by law.
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, whose own terms also apply to your download. To the extent you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the following applies:
Questions, complaints or claims about the app should be directed to us at hello@doodlebug.app.
All content, branding, software and materials in the Services — including Doodle, our mascot — are owned by or licensed to Tikiri Labs Ltd, except your own content and third-party materials.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Services or our content without permission.
We may update, improve, modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the Services from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may perform maintenance, updates or emergency fixes.
Doodlebug is offline-first: your records live on your device and remain usable without a connection, but sync, backup, caregiver sharing and the AI assistant depend on our servers and third-party providers being available.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control, or decisions made in reliance on the Services without appropriate professional advice.
Where permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim arose.
If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights under the laws of the country where you live that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.
You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. Before you do, you can export your records from the app. Deleting your account removes your data from our servers on the timelines described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud or abuse, or where we are required to do so by law.
Provisions that should survive termination (for example payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example when we add features, change providers, or the law changes. The current version always lives at getdoodlebug.com/terms.html with its updated date at the top.
If a change is material, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the Services and delete your account.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, provided your rights under them are not reduced.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may have the right to bring claims in your local courts.
